Every holiday season, a time of joy and celebration, many are reminded of a loved one or family member they would like to honor or remember in a special way.

Light Up A Life offers a unique and meaningful way to express your appreciation for those you love and cherish. During the holiday season, UPMC Cole will be decorating a tree lit with sparkling white lights. Each light represents a gift in honor or in memory of someone special.

Your generous contribution will be used in support of ongoing patient care needs for our Hospice and Patterson Cancer patients.

Honor or memorialize your loved ones by one of the following donation opportunities:

• Star Sponsor — $1,000 Includes special listing and recognition at the lighting ceremony. Your loved one(s) will also be given a special mention when lighting the star.
• Event Sponsor — $500 Includes special listing and recognition at the lighting ceremony.
• ‍Peace — 10 lights for $100
• Hope — 5 lights for $50
• Love — 1 light for $10

Each gift will be acknowledged with a specially designed card to the person being honored or to the family of the memorialized loved one.

A letter will be sent to the donor acknowledging their generous contribution. All gifts are tax deductible.

The names of those honored or memorialized will be listed in the Light Up A Life service program, hospital’s website, and also displayed in the hospital’s lobby. We accept donations throughout the year, however, if you would like your dedication to be included in the service program, please reply no later than November 30.
